Dues are pro-rated by quarter. If joining October 1, 2008 - March 31, 2009, please pay the total amount listed above; your membership will expire December 31, 2009. If joining April 1, 2009 - June 30, 2009, please pay 75% of the amounts listed above; your membership will expire December 31, 2009.  If joining July 1, 2009 - September 30, 2009, please pay 50% of the amounts listed above; your membership will expire December 31, 2009.

Here's an example of  "dues math":  $244 x .75 = $183 National dues, $220 x .75 = $165 State dues, and $299 x .75 = $224.25 Local dues, for a total of $572.25.

When an Associate member becomes a registered architect, they must submit an upgrade form to AIA National. Your dues will not increase until the following membership year.
